One thing
lead to another.

Roots

I’m from Belgium.

Studied Graphic and Digital Media. Got my bachelor's degree.

First job. Back when fax machines were still a thing. Web design was my jam. Front-end. Back-end. Coding. Figuring out how things worked. Making them look good was always more fun.

Then came Flash. Suddenly, stuff could move online. I was hooked. Until the internet decided it wasn't a thing anymore.

Leading

Then the big change. From making things to helping others make better things.

Art Director. New challenge. Less about my own work. More about the team. Sharing ideas. Giving direction. Mentoring people.

Few years later, Creative Director. Bigger teams. Bigger projects. Big picture.

Helped grow a creative department to more than 70 members worldwide. Across Europe, the Americas and Asia-Pacific.

I learned to think ahead. Build teams. Develop ideas. Pitch them. Plan for what's next. Lead.

Good creative work is rarely a solo effort.

Creating

Living in Poland now. Still Belgian at heart though.

Moved into graphic design and production. Mastered layouts, templates and workflows. Make things look good. Deliver them fast. Knowing all the shortcuts.

Animation kept pulling me back in. First HTML5. Then the real stuff. Motion graphics. Video.

A whole new world opened up. Movement. Timing. Sound. Storytelling. I loved it. Still do.

Exploring

Trying something different after years in-house. On my own. Freelance.

New clients. New teams. Agency life. Different world, yet familiar.

Now, I work with brands and agencies. Creative direction. Branding. Design. Video.

Sometimes leading a team. Sometimes hands-on. I like both.

20 years later. Still learning.
Always more to explore.
